To honor the diamond jubilee, I made a Pimm's Cup. Pimm's is a popular drink in England. It resembles somewhat our favorite mint julep, but this one is gin-based. Cucumber adds a nice clean fresh flavor. Yeahhh, baby! That's groovy, baby!
Garnished with orange, cucumber and mint |
Pimm's No.1 |
1 1/4 oz Pimm's No.1
5 oz ginger ale
1/4 Lemon juiced
Orange slices
Cucumber slices
Mint leaves
The next time, I might add a shot of Hendrick's gin. It would add a nice rosy aroma to this drink.
