Ginger Cocoa Banana Smoothie

Who says you can't have chocolate for breakfast? This smoothie actually is good for you. Adding ginger crystals would boost up the flavor. I am delighted to find out what ginger crystals can do to enhance the flavors in many dishes!

You can taste the ginger in the background.
Ginger crystals. They are yummy by themselves.


Ginger Cocoa Banana Smoothie

1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 banana
1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 piece ginger crystal
1/2 tsp agave nectar

YOU control the amount of sugar by using unsweetened cocoa.

Blend them all until smooth. Garnish with a little more cocoa powder on top. Greek yogurt and almond milk have a lot of protein in them, so you won't feel hungry all morning! Promise!
