Purple rhododendrons are blooming in the front yard. We planted them when we moved to this house in 2006. For the first four years or so we did not see any flowers on them, which disappointed me a bit, but they look thriving this year. We have more flowers on them this year than any other year. They are bright fuchsia and beautiful against the brick wall.
