Four Hours Later...

So with my own bare hands, I made two bookcases. Not bad, not bad. About halfway done, I found a little crack on one of the boards. I will need to find some wood glue and reinforce it. My hubby will be so impressed! And I didn't use any power tools, either.
I can do it~
Ta da!

I am not sure whether to put them next to the couch. We may have to move them around and see what we like.

In the previous posting of the Office Makeover, the room looked like this....

Office Makeover Continues...

The bookcases we ordered for our office were delivered a few days ago. Now all we need to do is to assemble them. Boxes are everywhere in the house and we have guests coming in a couple of weeks. We need to get going!
Do I need power tools?

Mommy's Toy

Our dog loves being on my lap. So he just does not understand why I am so attached to our laptop computer spending so much time with it. This thing, Mommy's toy, is this silver metal book-like object that makes sounds every now and then, but it is not animated or cute like he is. He has to fight for his precious lap-time with Mommy against it. It is a tough fight.

Pay attention to me as I sleep on your laptop!

Vegetable Garden Updates (22)

Black Cherry Tomatoes are starting to ripe on the vines. They are actually purple and I find them a lot sweeter than regular red tomatoes. When they ripe on the vines, they are sweet like fruits. But I guess tomatoes are considered fruits... that makes sense.

Pop one in your mouth. Best snack ever!

These tomatoes are yielding a lot more fruits than Husky Cherry Red. The plant is a lot bushier and taller, too. I am really liking this plant. I think I will get more of this kind next year.
Humongous pepper

Big Early Red Pepper is starting to turn orange yellow. It took at least five weeks for this pepper to get to this point, and this is the only pepper on the plant. I am worried that it may spoil before I get to pick it!
