Vegetable Garden Updates (13)

Beautiful eggplants
We had a harvest. Two good sized eggplants. There are more baby eggplants on the plants. Green bell peppers look almost ready, too. I am still waiting for the red bell pepper to turn red, though it is getting sort of freakishly large. In just a few days, the cucumbers have grown to be the size of mini pickles. Before you know it, they will be ready.

Today is the official first day of summer 2012. Summer flowers are doing well. I like lantana because it is hardy and drought tolerant. It's considered an annual but came back this summer. The winter was so mild last year, the plant made it through.

Geranium
A pot of red geraniums brightens up the patio. I make sure to get them every year.
