Sapporo's Good Eats (1)

Continuing on with our Japan trip 2013 to our last stop, Sapporo where I grew up. Everything was fresh and delicious in Sapporo. I always knew the food was good there, but this time, I was really convinced. The people eat well there.

Dinner table at home.
Kiritampo is a local dish from my mother's hometown, Akita.
The soup for kiritampo was to die for!
This hotel in Sapporo has very good restaurants in it.
Sushi at Nadaman inside the hotel.
You can see the skyline in the back of the chefs.
MMM! Seared kinki, channel rockfish.
Kinki キンキ- English: Breadfin thomehead
This is channel rockfish, aka kinki.
Hard to get hands on it now, but it's a delicious regional fish.
